Lenovo will introduce its new notebook which will be named X301 and will expand on the first model by using Centrino 2 ultra-low voltage Core 2 Duo processors which will run at a speculated speed of both 1.2GHz and 1.4 GHz processors. They are also looking to extend the battery life of the original.
The Lenovo X301 will also add a 128 GB solid-state drive and add DisplayPort without removing VGA. This gives users the choice of both, an analog and digital display. The company will also offer a faster, HSPA-based 3G option for AT&T data subscribers in the states and will also seek to add WiMAX as an option once Sprint's Xohm network launches in September of this year.
The Lenovo X301 will be available at a price of $2599 (appprox Rs 1,00,000 ) and will be available from 29 Aug. onwards.
